I've brainstormed or workshopped with the founding team of another 100+ that I never took a formal role in. I've been very fortunate to see what works and what doesn't. I've had enough exposure and followed teams through to their eventual end to start to notice a pattern that has informed my decision-making about getting involved in a company.
